> MediaPhy Engages Impress Public Relations as it Emerges From Stealth Mode with Flagship Product

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.—August 23, 2007—Following an 18-month period in design and development, MediaPhy Corporation today announced that it has retained the services of Impress Public Relations to advise and manage the company’s communications strategy. MediaPhy is a semiconductor company focused on the design, development and commercialization of integrated circuits (IC) for global mobile television applications. The company has enlisted the help of semiconductor industry communications specialists, Impress PR, to launch both the company and its breakthrough technology over the coming months.

MediaPhy’s technology expertise lies in the development of highly integrated ultra-low-power mobile TV solutions, allowing OEMs and ODMs worldwide to cost-effectively improve wireless device reception quality while significantly shortening the overall design cycle. Applications for MediaPhy’s technology include mobile phones, portable media players, laptops, PDAs and automotive entertainment systems.

“Engaging with Impress is a key element of the approach that we have adopted, right from our inception, to bring our company and products to market,” said Terry Leeder, president and CEO of MediaPhy. “With their expertise in this field, as well as their ability to reach our targets in Asia, Europe and here in the Americas, we are extremely confident that our message will be heard in a timely and well-executed manner and have the desired impact that we are looking for from a communications plan.”

“As a start-up entering a rapidly growing market you need to have a great product that is significantly different and offers an improvement when compared to the solutions currently available. MediaPhy has that,” stated Dave Richardson, managing partner at Impress Public Relations. “That story will unfold in due course. We look forward to providing MediaPhy with a platform that will help the company attain its desired global impact and position it for long-term success.”

Specific details pertaining to the technology will be announced in September, 2007.
