Ajit Medhekar is a Venture Partner at ARCH focused on investments in the physical sciences, including semiconductors, communications, optics and advanced materials.
A semiconductor industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in established companies including National Semiconductor and AMD, and start-ups, Mr. Medhekar has served as CEO of Silicon Bandwidth, founder, Chairman and CEO of Lara Technology (acquired by Cypress), founder, Chairman and CEO of empowerTel Networks (acquired by IP Unity) and Vice President of Memory Products at Alliance Semiconductor (NASDAQ : ALSC). Mr. Medhekar has also served on boards of several private and public technology companies.
Mr. Medhekar received his SM and SB degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT and has co-authored thirteen patents.

Amrish Patel
Amrish, one of the co-founders of MediaPhy, is a seasoned
executive with the history of 'growing companies" from start-up to
major players, and a track record of successful M&A deals. With more
than 15 years experience in semiconductor industry and in particular
communications, Amrish was most recently Senior VP and GM at
Conexant responsible for the Digital Home Group. Prior to that he
was assigned the task of diversifying Globespan from 'Pure Play DSL"
to multi-billion dollar revenue communication IC company. Amrish led
the merger and acquisition team and successfully integrated
Intersil's WLAN group with Globespan.
